Beschreibung

Translation Services in the framework of the Girls Go Circular Project.

Beschreibung des Loses

Under the Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027), which outlines the European Commission"s vision for high-quality, inclusive and accessible digital education in Europe, and under Action 13 "Encourage women"s participation in STEM" (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), the European Commission expects the EIT and the KICs to equip thousands of schoolgirls aged 14-19 with digital, entrepreneurial, and green skills through an online learning programme that engages girls in an EIT-branded digital learning platform. To achieve this ambition, the Girls Go Circular initiative (www.eit-girlsgocircular.eu) will involve secondary school students in over 30 countries in which the training shall be conducted. The contractor shall provide translation of the following information or documents, i.a.: - Website information (including terms of use and privacy policy). - Didactic materials for students aged 14-19. - Website navigation tabs. - Video content (subtitles). The source language of all information or documents to be translated under the tendered contract is English. Target languages for 2024 and 2025 are: 1) Albanian, 2) Bulgarian, 3) Croatian, 4) Czech, 5) Danish, 6) Dutch, 7) Estonian, 8) Finnish, 9) French, 10) German, 11) Greek, 12) Hungarian, 13) Italian, 14) Latvian, 15) Lithuanian, 16) Macedonian, 17) Polish, 18) Portuguese,19) Romanian, 20) Serbian, 21) Slovak, 22) Slovenian, 23) Spanish, 24) Swedish, 25) Ukrainian.

For the purpose of this procurement procedure, a reference is defined as a contractual relationship between the candidate and a client covering services which are comparable to those subject of the tendered contract. By the means of references it has to be made proof of the following (minimum requirements): 1. The tenderer must demonstrate experience in project work in a multilingual and international environment (at least 10 languages and at least 10 countries). 2. The tenderer must demonstrate experience in project work with a focus on secondary school educational issues. 3. The tenderer must demonstrate experience in translating e-learning content. Each of the above-mentioned criteria must be met by a minimum of one (1) reference (exclusion criteria). One reference may cover more than one of the above-mentioned exclusion criteria. EIT RawMaterials reserves the right to contact former clients to verify the given information.

A bidding consortium is treated legally like a single tenderer. Insofar as tenderers are mentioned in this contract notice or in the procurement documents, this refers to both individual tenderers and bidding consortia. In the request to participate, members of the consortium must name an authorised representative. The authorised representative is available as contact person for the consortium in this procurement procedure. The eligibility review shall be carried out taking into account all documents submitted by the bidding consortium.
