Beschreibung

Feasibility studies for offshore subsea transformers and its affiliated components This Project outlines and promotes the concept of the TenneT Offshore Subsea Transformer, an innovation that technically simplifies and downsizes conventional offshore converter platforms in order to realize cost savings, among other things. The main innovation is the spatial relocation of components for offshore grid connection systems to the seabed. In the future, the TenneT Offshore Subsea Transformer could complement the new 2GW standard to further accelerate the offshore grid expansion.

The reason for this tender is the awarding of several feasibility studies in preparation for a potential development of offshore subsea transformers and its affiliated components.

The tender procedure is divided into the following Lots: Lot 1: Feasibility Study - VSC-HVDC Transformer Lot 2: Feasibility Study - EHV Submarine Cable Lot 3: Feasibility Study Reversible EHV Subsea Connector Lot 4: Feasibility Study - Installation Concept

Because TenneT is a regulated company, European procurement law is applicable. Therefore, TenneT is committed to a fair and transparent procurement process and encourages these fundamental principles, in particular equal treatment of all bidders and fair competition.

The Procedure guidelines includes a detailed description of the entire award procedure. It also defines the rules that the tenderers must follow. The aim of the contracting authority is to identify the most economical tender in the course of the award procedure and to award the contract to the tenderer concerned. Within this document, the criteria according to which the most economical offer is determined are defined and described. A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) should be concluded to protect the confidentiality of information from the employer in the tender documents. In addition to checking the signed NDA, TenneT carries out a plausibility check to determine if the interested party has a legitimate interest in gaining access to the tender documents.
