Establishment of an external project coordination office (EPCO) for the Interreg project in Central Europe: NiCE (externes Projektkoordinierungsbüro)

As Lead Partner (LP) of the Interreg Central Europe project "NiCE", the German Environment Agency (UBA) will be responsible for steering the project implementation and will commission an external project coordination office (EPCO) for the organisational project management. The EPCO’s main tasks include (i) administrative management, (ii) financial management of the project and (iii) internal project communication. The project will start in May 2023. The EPCO has to support and accompany the project from the beginning. The main tasks and responsibilities are outlined in the ToR. -- The tender is subject to the conclusion of the Subsidy Contract which is currently being prepared by the Interreg Central Europe Programme Managing Authority with UBA as Lead Partner. In case this funding contract will not be concluded, the project cannot be implemented. In consequence, this tender will only be awarded on condition that the Subsidy Contract is concluded and signed.
