3. Promoting Sustainable Business Development: The project will support the development of advisory services that help small and medium-sized businesses grow in a sustainable way. 4. Improving Labor Market Policies: By developing better employment services, the project will support both job seekers and employers in Iraq. The project will focus on creating labor market policies that better meet the needs of the private sector, helping to create more job opportunities, particularly for young people and women.

The contractor will provide expert advisory services in areas such as economic policy, renewable energy, private sector development, and employment reform. These experts will offer hands-on support through workshops, policy development, and direct advisory to government and private sector stakeholders. Flexibility is key, as the project will need to adapt to changing demands from partners in Iraq. Experts will travel to Iraq for in-person consultations, meetings, and workshops, while some tasks can be done remotely. The project is expected to run until the end of 2026, with potential for further extensions depending on evolving needs.
